Alice Fay Smith

Alice Fay Fish Smith, age 65 of Toone, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday morning, October 8, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Ms. Smith was born in Bolivar, Tennessee October 13, 1948 to the late Leo T. Fish and Chessie E. Avent. She lived all of her life in Hardeman County and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and flowers, and was known for her "green thumb."
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Brian Smith of Toone; sisters, Phyllis Fish Phillips of Hickory Valley, Polly Morris of Hickory Valley, and Crystal Sterling of Somerville; brothers, Wallace Tate Fish of Hickory Valley, and Douglas Leon Fish of Hickory Valley; and several grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Smith, Jr.
Donations made in memory of Ms. Smith may be sent to the American Cancer Society, or to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Saulsbury.
