Alice Cara Hurst

Henderson: Alice Cara Hurst Hurst age 90 pasted away, Saturday evening, December 15, 2007, at the Chester County Health Care in Henderson.
Mrs. Hurst was born an reared in the Masseyville Community of Chester County at Pine Top Cut, the daughter of the late Frank and Altie Mae Hatch Hurst, She attended school at Wilson School House. In 1932 she was married to Milton Hurst also of the Masseyville Community. They made their home in Masseyville, Henderson, and Hornsby Communities. Mr. Hurst pasted away in 1969. Mrs. Hurst farmed and worked at Western State Mental Health Hospital in Bolivar and later worked and retired from Harman International in Bolivar. She loved the plant and raise flowers in her flower garden and had collected over 300 dolls and also loved taking care of her dogs.
She is survived by 2 grandchildren Vicki Phillips and Billy Williams both of Henderson, three great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Minnie Pearl Williams in 2007, two brothers Bilbo Hurst and Ralph Hurst, and one sister Betty Lou McCalip.
