ALICE BLACKSTOCK DAVIS
was born in Chester County, Tennessee on December 5, 1916 the daughter of the late James W. and Corda Hollins Blackstock.
On September 5, 1935 she was united in marriage to Cleatis Davis, who preceded his wife in death on February 4, 1992.
Mrs. Davis worked for Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She departed this life on October 3, 2010 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 28 days.
Mrs. Davis is survived by one son, Ted Davis and his wife Barbara of Dallas, Texas and 2 daughters, Brenda Pickens and her husband Melvin of Hammond, Indiana and Nancy Alexander and her husband Johnny of Savannah, Tennessee
8 grandchildren, Kim Davis, Tim Pickens, Kelly Davis, Kevin Davis, Billy Pickens, Keith Davis, Brandy Murphy and Kristin Adams
12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
one sister, Jean Blackstock of Milledgeville, Tennessee
Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Bill and Bobby Davis, 2 sisters, Agnes Davis and Lorene Johnson and 3 brothers, Albert Blackstock, Joe Blackstock and Thomas Blackstock
