Alfred Robinson was born August 25, 1923 in Ramer, Tennessee the son of the late Roland and Juna Ballard Robinson.Alfred moved to Detroit Michigan where he met and married Corine Gardner.Alfred was one of five children, educated in the Tennessee Public School System, accepted Christ at an early age, served honorably in the United States Navy. He was employed by the Lyons Corporation after they moved south he became self-employed.He was affectionately known by his family and friends as (Al), and whenever they saw him he would be whistling his favorite tune. He was liked for his good heart, smile and his love for whistling.Mr. Robinson departed this life on October 23, 2007 in Detroit, Michigan at the age of 84 Years, 1 Month, 28 Days. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Alfred L. Robinson and wife Anna of Ecorse, Michigan; two sisters, Sadie Hendricks, and Alphia Blevins; three grandchildren, Troy and wife Rena, Dadriane and husband Kevin, Linwood and wife Berenice; one niece, Arenesta Jackson and a host of relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a daughter, Alyne Robinson; a son, Walter Ricky Robinson; two brothers, Arvell Robinson and Lovell Walker.
