Alfred Lee Bowman

Mr. Bowman passed away Friday, January 25 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The husband of Leona G. Bowman, who survives, he was a Certified Public Accountant and farmer. He was born in Prescott, Kansas, to Earl W. and Bertha Alice Moody Bowman, both of whom preceded him in death, and lived in Memphis prior to moving to Saulsbury in 1972. He served in the US Marines during the 1950's and was a graduate of Kansas University. His memberships included the American Society of CPA's and the Tennessee Beef Producers. Mr. Bowman was a Baptist in belief.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on June 8, 1948, survivors include a son and his wife, Tracy and Ashley Bowman of Saulsbury; a granddaughter, Lauren Bowman of Saulsbury; a sister, Pauline Elliott of Kansas City, KS and a brother, Chester E. Bowman of Ft. Wayne, IN.
