Alec Neely Callahan

Mr. Callahan passed away Saturday at Bolivar General Hopsital.
The husband of Isabel Foster Callahan, who survives, he was an office machines mechanic. He was born to Alec Neely Callahan, Sr. and Stevie Odella Burnett Callahan, both of whom preceded him in death and recently moved back to Hardeman County after 60 years in Shelby County. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Karen Williams of Bartlett; a son, Richard Callahan of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a sister, Peggy Dewey of Aurora, Ill.; a brother, Hayes Callahan of Saulsbury; a step daughter, Carolyn Buchans of Atlanta, Georgia; and seven grandchildren.
