Albert Franklin Morgan

Albert Franklin Morgan, age 78 born August 11, 1938 to the late Thedore Rosevelt and Flossie Daniel Morgan, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro.

Franklin was an avid deer hunter, liked to fish, always raised a garden and shared his bounty with family and friends. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He was always a hard worker, working many years at Genesco in Waynesboro. His last employment was at Dana and Eaton Corporation in Hohenwald where he retired in 2005.

Other then his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Billy Morgan, Gene Morgan and infant brother Bobby Morgan, sisters Kathleen Runions and infant sister Barbara Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Frankie Martin Morgan, son, Sheldon Morgan both of Waynesboro, TN., several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Joseph Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitaion will be on Monday, July 31, 6:00-8:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 1, 8:00 am unitl service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Pallbearers, Kelvin Runions, Donnie Runions, Keith Morgan, Wayne Morgan, Bobby Bevis and Rex Bevis.
