Jacks Creek, TN: Albert Dean Jones, age 74, passed away February 3, 2025, at his home.

He was born July 31, 1950, in Chester County, the son of the late Albert Jay and Nettie Laverne Page Jones. Dean graduated from Chester County High School in 1968 and went on to a lifelong career as an auto mechanic and farmer.

He married his wife of fifty-two years, Annette Heidelberg Jones on February 16, 1972.

Dean enjoyed reading, Civil War History, gardening and telling ‘Dad’ jokes to his children and grandchildren.

He regularly attended Middlefork Road Baptist Church. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Jay and Nettie, his eldest sister, Dale Kirby and her husband John, and his youngest brother, Darry Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Annette and their daughters, Alayne Phillips (Chris) and Wynter Elder (Jonathan); five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher and Emma Phillips, Clara and Olivia Elder and a brand-new great grandchild, Evelyn Ann Phillips; as well as his siblings, Vicki Zamata Rainey (Irvin, Jr.) of Henderson, Ricky Jones (Susan) of Henderson, Dawn Nance (Dan) of Medon and Jennifer Cronin (Brian) of Henderson; along with many nieces and nephews, and in-laws.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 8th at Middlefork Road Baptist Church, with Bro. Glenn Harris officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Middlefork Road Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 PM on Saturday, until service time at 2:00 PM. A light reception will follow.
