Albert C. Benton

Mr. Benton died Sunday morning at Germantown Methodist Hospital.
A native of Leachville, Arkansas, he was the son of the late William Cecil and Myrtle Elizabeth Osborne Benton. He married Verna Ruth Rushing on November 18, 1961. Mrs. Benton died June 27, 1988. Mr. Benton was a Mason and lived most of his life in Memphis. He retired from Essex-Brownell after 25 years and also retired from PharMerica after 8 years as a Pharmacy Technician.
He leaves two sisters, Donna Papageorgeon and husband, Louis; and Jo Sonwineski and her husband, Jerry, all of Memphis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
