Agnes Bain

Agnes Yancey Bainwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 28, 1916 the daughter of the late Herman and Annie Belle Martin Yancey.Ms. Bain worked at Brown Shoe Company for over thirty years. She was a member of East End United Methodist Church and a member of the Home Demonstration Club.She departed this life on July 26, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 28 days.Ms. Bain is survived by her children: Robert Earl Bain and his wife, Jewel, of Florence, Alabama, Nell Thomas and her husband, David, of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Larry David Bain and his wife, Sharon, of Savannah, Tennessee;six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren;one sister, Ruth Young of Savannah, Tennessee and one brother, Glen Yancey of Clanton, Alabama.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Prince.
