Ader Massengill was born March 3, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Eulis and Cora Lipford Black. She was united in marriage to James Wayne Massengill on January 28, 1956.Mrs. Massengill was a homemaker and was formerly employed for 11 years at Fineburg Packing Company in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of the Beauty Hill Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Massengill departed this life on May 21, 2007 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 2 Months, 18 Days. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Wayne Massengill; four sisters: Mary Bryant of Mississippi, Fannie Gober of Selmer, Tennessee, Lessie Battipaglia of Adamsville, Tennessee and Opal Wilson of Milan, Tennessee; two brothers: Robert Black of Adamsville, Tennessee and Dennie Black of Springfield, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Massengill was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Gamble and Betsy Brady, and two brothers, Willard Black and Jimmy Neal Black.
