Addie Mildred Plunk Wood

She was born and reared in Finger, TN, the daughter of the late Lewis O. and Minnie Lenora Lofton Wharton. She attended school at Finger. She was married to Jesse B. Plunk in 1929. Mr. Plunk operated a saw mill. He preceded in death in 1947. She was later married to Robert Brancy Wood, Sr. in 1954. Mr. Wood died in 1973. She was a dietician with the Chester County School System.



She is survived by a son Harold Plunk and his wife Dorothy of Henderson; a son in law Glen Milford; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; 1 step daughter, Eloise Wood Parker of Henderson; 2 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild.



She was preceded in death by a daughter Lilla Imogene Milford in 2005, two step sons the late Hiram Wood and Brancy Wood, Jr. who died in prison camp during WWII.
