Addie Logan

Addie Logan was born January 17, 1940 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late James Dee and Ethel Smith Hicks.

She was united in marriage to James Adam Logan on October 21, 2016.

Addie operated Gypsy Escort, an oversize load flag car service, for 25 years, retiring in 2019.  When she was young Addie was an accomplished bowler, competing in leagues and maintaining a high average.  Reading, solving crossword puzzles, flower and vegetable gardening, working in her yard, and watching the squirrels and deer from her porch were among her favorite activities.  She was a good cook and enjoyed attending dances with her husband on the weekends.  Addie was a member of First Baptist Church of Bethel Springs.  She loved the Lord, her family, and all of God's creatures.

Addie departed this life on February 1, 2024 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 14 Days.  She is survived by her husband James Adam Logan of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Charlotte Curtis and husband Breck and Sharon Franks, all of Corinth, MS; a son, Kenneth Patrick and wife Andrea of Pensacola, FL; six grandchildren: Andrew Patrick and wife Katie of Pensacola, FL, Laurin Lopez and husband Ricardo of Tallahassee, FL, Heather Burnett and husband Rusty of Corinth, MS, Hunter Curtis of Tupelo, MS, Erin Ross of Corinth, MS, and Zack Grier of Corinth, MS; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters: Helen Wagster of Selmer, TN, Margie Locke of Iuka, MS, and Linda Prater of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.  

In addition to her parents, Addie was preceded in death by four brothers: Doice Hicks, Vernon Hicks, Wendell Hicks, and Elvis Hicks.
