Ada Coats

Ada Baldwin Coats was born April 3, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jim and Daisy Carper Baldwin. She was united in marriage to John Theodore Coats who preceded her in death on August 5, 1990.Mrs. Coats worked in the Cutting Dept. at Brown Shoe Co. in Selmer, TN for 27 years. She was Baptist in her belief. Mrs. Coats departed this life on May 27, 2009 in Arlington, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 1 Month, 24 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Rafferty of Memphis, TN, a son, J. T. Coats, Jr. and wife Pam of Arlington, TN; a sister, Erie Hurst of Selmer, TN, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Coats was preceded in death by four sisters, Odelee Foust, Ivy Whitted, Eve Baldwin, Lilly Crabb; five brothers, Shug Baldwin, Roy Baldwin, Pete Baldwin, Nud Baldwin, Roscoe Baldwin;
