Abram F. Silliman was born July 27, 1919 in Dallas, Texas the son of the late Abram Frisby Silliman Sr. and the late Catherine Silliman Rogers.He was united in marriage to Mary Frances Rogers.Mr. Silliman had been a minister since 1950 and he was the director of missions of the Salem Baptist Association in Middle Tennessee. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Silliman served his country in the Air Force during World War II.Mr. Silliman departed this life on March 7, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 7 Months, 8 Days. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Rogers Silliman of Selmer, Tennessee; daughter, Pamela Kay Silliman Swift of Livingston, Tennessee; son, Abe F. Silliman Jr. of Wynnburg, Tennessee; step-daughter, Elizabeth Lam of Bay, Arkansas; two step-sons, James Russ and Bobby Russ both of Bassett, Arkansas; four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and six step grandchildren.
