He was born in Houston, TX, the son of the late Abner and Ettie Mae Green.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lois Attaway Green; a son Rex Wayne Green and wife Lisa of Beach City, TX; a daughter Sherry Danford of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Melissa Green Smalling and husband Michael of Richmond, TX, Rex Alan Green of Houston and Veronica Danford of Houston, TX; and also two sisters Audrey Mullins of Huffman, TX and Viola Murski of Kingwood, TX.
He was preceded in death by a son Gary Green.
