Aaron Billy Moss, 72, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was a farmer and County Surveyor for Harry Bishop for 40 years. Mr. Moss was born November 29, 1933 in Middleburg, son of the late Arthur Rube Moss and Beulah Ada Wilson Moss and lived here all of his life. He served in the TN National Guard as an M-1 Specialist, was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church and attended Bethel Springs Church of God. He was always ready to help the elderly and widows and was active in community cook-outs and benefits.
Services were 2 pm Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Don Goodrum and Aaron Moss officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Hank Youngblood of Savannah; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Aaron Lynn and Danita Moss of Bethel Springs and Anthony and Peggy Moss of Saulsbury; five grandchildren, Brandon Moss, Jessica Mott, Joshua, Laura and Hannah Moss; two great grandchildren, McKenzie Johnson and Jaythan Mott and one aunt, Marie Moss Ervin of Bolivar. He was preceded in death by his son, Garron Wynn Moss; sister, Peggy Farris and brother, Joe Moss.
