Mr. William J. Murrell III, age 73 of Memphis, passed Monday evening, July 15, 2019 at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
A native of Scotland County, NC, Mr. Murrell was born Friday, August 3, 1945 to the late William Joseph Murrell II and Roxie Story Murrell. He lived in Memphis for most of his life, and in his leisure time, he enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He was Baptist in belief.
He leaves behind his daughter, Ronda Murrell Wagoner Woods (David) of Bolivar; his sister, Andrea Sparks of Memphis; grandchildren, Jon-Matthew Wagoner, Sharla Teel (Taylor) and Jessica Hornsby (Zach); and great-grandchildren, Macie, Hallie and Dallas Teel, John Robert Goschke and Holden Hornsby.
