Wanda Lou Pickett

Wanda Lou Pickett , age 73 of Henderson passed away early Sunday morning at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born February 6, 1946 in Luray, TN the daughter of the late William Vester and Ruby Ancie Jones Brittain. She married Larry Don L Pickett on July 1, 1961 and they made their home in Henderson. Larry passed away on July 12, 2009. She was a homemaker, who when her children got older became a beautician and ran a shop from her home. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds. She loved making holidays and Birthdays big events and she especially loved Christmas time. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren four wheeling and going to the huckleberry patch.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Tedford (Jimmy) and Lisa Warren (Tony) both of Henderson; three grandchildren Tabitha Cain (Richard), Larry Chase Warren (Melissa), Cortney Lott (Josh); Five great grandchildren Addison Tedford, Zayden Warren and Exie-Lou Jo Lott, Chloe Karoline Cain, Roman Lee Cain; a brother Jimmy Brittain (Wanda Freeman)of Jackson and a sister Melba Seaton of Henderson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers Bud and Sammy Brittain, two sisters Betty Robinson and Irene Norwood and a great grandson Gauge Don L Lott.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 2 at Sweetlips Cemetery with Bobby Beecham officiating.
