TIM LANDERS
Henderson, TN: Timothy Alan Landers age 58 passed away Thursday evening at his home.
He was born March 22, 1967 in Memphis, TN, son of the late Tommy Landers and Sandra Barnes Landers. He grew up in Memphis and attended Frayser High School and graduated from Gateway Baptist Christian School in 1985.
He worked for Duro Bag in Jackson for 17 years as a machine operator and was Supervisor when he retired due to health reasons.
He liked hunting, fishing, traveling and was a sports enthusiast, especially a Memphis Tiger fan.
He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed as a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Landers of Henderson; daughters Briana and Megan Landers of Covington, TN; two stepdaughters Kayla (Billy) Hugerford and Ashley Hollingshead both of Jackson; a stepson Patrick (Chastity) Hollingshead of Jackson; two brothers Mike (Ruth) Landers and Mark (Renee) Landers both of Deanburg; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew Mark David Landers.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson – East Main Chapel with Larry Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Deanburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday.
