Terry Lee Plunk was born September 5, 1950 in Crump, TN the son of the late Lilian Fred and Zelma Armata Pickens Plunk.
Mr. Plunk was a member of the Mercer Baptist Church in Mercer, Tennessee. He was passionate about his church and loved his church family. A dedicated Sunday school teacher, who planned many excursions for his class - they almost always included a good place to eat. He was faithful to meet monthly with the Central High School alumni group and always enjoyed catching up with classmates.
Golf, cooking, and studying the Bible were some of his favorite things to do. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and church family.
Mr. Plunk departed this life on April 13, 2021 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 7 Months, 8 Days. He is survived by a son, Jon Plunk and wife Persephone; two daughters, Sondra Lee Plunk, and Kristi Kimbley; brother, Paul Wallace Plunk; 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; longtime friends and golfing buddies, Larry Lambert and David Turner; and church family at Mercer Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Plunk was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Darlene (Berry) Plunk; stepson, Jerry Glenn Sweat; a sister, Dorothy Pauline Plunk Green; two brothers, Lillian Fred Plunk Jr. and Carl Wayne Plunk.
