TED TEDFORD
Pinson, TN: Teddy W. Tedford, age 87 passed away March 5, 2021 at his home after a brief illness.
He was born October 12, 1933 in Hollis, OK the son of the late Joe Neal and Margie Royal Tedford. His family moved to Memphis in his early youth and then settled in Pinson, TN. He graduated from Pinson High School, and then joined the U.S. Army. He married Mary Ann Robbins in 1956. They made their home in Pinson, where he became a landowner and farmed soybeans and cotton until he retired.
He and Ann enjoyed growing large vegetable gardens together. He also kept mules and enjoyed wagon rides. He and Ann enjoyed traveling in their camper to various places. His smile, laugh and hugs will be missed by many. He was a member of the Pinson Baptist Church.
His beloved Ann preceded him in death on March 13, 2019.
Mr. Tedford is survived by a son, Robin Tedford (Betty) of Pinson and two daughters, Sherry Tedford of Auburn, AL and Jeanie Lovelace (Buzz) of Pinson; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and two brothers, Jimmy Tedford and Harold Tedford both of Pinson.
As per Mr. Tedford’s wishes there will be no public attended funeral services.
