Sue Pickens was born on May 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Earl Dewy and Mary Ethel Brown Dickson. She departed this life on April 18, 2019, at the age of 88 years, 11 months, and 12 days.
Sue attended Milledgeville United Methodist Church. She worked as the Vice President of Marketing for USA Classic for 40 years and enjoyed sewing and knitting, antiquing, and growing flowers.
Sue is survived by her sons, Mike Pickens of Franklin, Tennessee, Rick Pickens and wife Rhonda of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Tim Pickens and wife Mary of Clinton, Tennessee; sister, Shirley Smith and husband John of Highland, Indiana; grandchildren, Wesley Whitsitt; and great grandchild, Steven Whitsitt.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her son, Steve Pickens; sisters, Mary Lynn Frazier and Imogene Dickson; brothers, Mutt Dickson, Charlie Dickson, and Ray Dickson; and grandchild, Allen Pickens.
