Sallie (Sally) Ann Tamez

Sallie Ann (Sally) Davis Tamez of Collinwood, TN was born March 25, 1942 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Cladis Brown Davis and Ardilla Leona Holt Davis. Ms Tamez had worked in management and departed this life on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 11 Months, 10 Days.

She is survived by a son, Terry Parrish of Houston, TX; two daughters, Linda Sue Stutts of Waynesboro, TN and Betty Ann Parrish of Paducah, KY; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Davis of Waynesboro, TN and Leo Davis of Collinwood, TN; a sister, Brenda S. Hebert of Conway, AR and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms Tamez was preceded in death by a son, Rickie Parrish; infant twins and a sister, Linda Davis.

Services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Pam Hampton and Bill Hubble officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
