Raymond Curtis Vincent, age 82 of Arlington, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at his home in Arlington.
He was born December 19, 1937, to the late John Iver Vincent, Sr., and Lois Long Vincent. A retired lumber inspector, he was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. He was a native of Hardeman County but lived in Shelby County since 1960. He was the widower of Peggy Ann Doyle Vincent whom he married in 1962. Mrs. Vincent passed away in April, 1986. Mr. Vincent was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by a son, Chris Vincent of Memphis; a grandson, Brian Vincent of Arlington; five brothers and sisters, Richard Vincent (Judy) of Memphis, Emily Henson of Jackson, Frieda Waller of Bolivar, John I. Vincent, Jr. of Bolivar, and Butch Vincent (Judy) of Collierville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers, Wilbert, Buddy, Joe, Cecil and Kenneth Vincent.
