Pinson, TN: Michael Darren Wooley age 57, passed away November 1, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born May 20, 1965, in Jackson and grew up at Pinson, the son of Doris Faye Skinner Wooley and the late William Charles Wooley, Sr. He attended schools at Pinson and graduated from South Side High School in 1984. He received several diploma’s from several trade schools. He worked at Lyondell Bassel, a plastic manufacturing as a color coordinator.
He married Tina Wilson in 2009. He worked at Duro Bag until he retired in 2016. He was a member of the Pinson Baptist Church.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding and caring for horses. He was a NASCAR FAN.
Mr. Wooley is survived by his wife, Tina Louise Wilson Wooley of Pinson; his mother, Doris Faye Skinner Wooley of Pinson; a daughter, Madison Wooley Cummings (Chris) of Pinson, stepchildren, Jonathon Pigott (Debra) of Clarksville, Sandy Dawn Weaver of Henderson and Megan Durham (Jason) of Beech Bluff; a grandchild, Waylon Cummings and seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 5th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Jimmy Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow in Big Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
