Karen Hysmith Redmon

Karen Hysmith Redmon was born June 21, 1941 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Albert D. and Anna Lee Plunk Hysmith.

She was united in marriage to T.A Redmon on December 12, 1970. Mr. Redmon preceded her in death on September 4, 2003.

Mrs. Redmon retired from the Department of Human Services in Selmer, TN. She was a longtime member of the Maggie Jones United Methodist Church in Finger, TN. She was a 1959 graduate of Bethel Springs High School and earned a Bachelor degree in Education from Lambuth University.

She loved and cared for her fur babies, she considered them to be her children. Her precious babies were Shadow, Ruffles, Bella, Molly, Prissie, Sassie, Paulie Anna, Whitey and Tom Tom.

Mrs. Redmon departed this life on December 16, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 5 Months, 25 Days. She is survived by two step daughters, Cindy Ingle and Shelia Carroll both of Arkansas; and a host of cousins, friends, and church family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Redmon was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Hysmith.
