Judy Minyard

Judy Carol Garrard Minyard was born on March 28,1952 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of Bobbie Pauline Pryor Garrard and the late Henry Garrard. She was united in marriage to Phillip Monroe Minyard, who survives.

She departed this life on March 20, 2015 at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

Mrs. Minyard was employed at Dillard's in the Wolfchase Mall in Memphis, Tennessee as a sales clerk and was previously employed at the Sara Lee Corporation. She loved to experience new things and enjoyed traveling to the Baja Peninsula to go whale watching. Her two favorite places to travel were La Paz and Key West. She enjoyed crocheting and needle work and loved flowers. She also loved her animals; a cat, a squirrel, and a robin. Judy also volunteered at Memphis in May for 25 years.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Brad Franks and Allan Franks, both of Memphis, TN; 3 brothers, Robert Garrard and Danny Garrard, both of Crump, TN and Tommy Garrard of Savannah, TN; and 2 sisters, Kathy Sparks of Belmont, MS and Barbara Copeland of Savannah, TN.
