Services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Glenn Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery,Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 5:30--8:00 pm and on Thursday, Sept. 5, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Mrs. Juanita Whitehead Staggs departed this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 1 Month, 4 Days. She was born July 30, 1927 in Oklahoma the daughter of the late John Henry and Pearl Sharp Whitehead.

She was united in marriage to James Herschel Staggs on November 28, 1987. Mr. Staggs preceded her in death on August 5, 1991. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death by ; sisters, Mildred Pulley, Julie Frazier, Grace Chesser, Johnnie Whitehead, Billie Howard and Goldie Sharp; brothers, Buddy Whitehead and Bobby Whitehead.

Mrs. Staggs was a Homemaker .

She is survived by; stepsons, Jeffrey Staggs of Waynesboro, TN, Jerrold Henderson of Clifton, TN, Lee Henderson of Hohenwald, TN, Roger Staggs of Waynesboro, TN; stepdaughters, Cindy Lawrence of Cattle Gap, AR, Reba Pierce of Summertown, TN;
several grandchildren and great grandchildren
nieces and nephew.
