Joyce McCullar

Joyce McCullar was born August 3, 1949 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Quinnie Lavern and Iuna Sparks Whitten.
She was united in marriage to William Jerry McCullar on August 3, 1974. Mr. McCullar preceded her in death on June 6, 2002.
Mrs. McCullar was a medical transcriptionist for Jackson Clinic. She was a member of the Buena Vista United Methodist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and former member of the Eastern Star. She was a wonderful piano player and equally talented as a singer. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, enjoyed sewing when able, and supporter of Michie Fire Department.
She loved to travel to the mountains and loved all the beautiful rhododendrons that bloomed all over the Great Smoky Mountains.
Mrs. McCullar departed this life on May 29, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 9 Months, 26 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Alicia Tull and husband Randy of Selmer, TN; a son, Barry McCullar and wife Stephanie of Stantonville, TN; four grandchildren, Emma and Addie Tull, Madison and Mason McCullar; sister-in-law, Mary Whitten of Selmer, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McCullar was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Whitten; stepmother, Kathryn Whitten.
