Jerry W. Dickey

Jerry W. Dickey was born October 8, 1954 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late A. C. and Clarice Briggs Dickey.

Mr. Dickey worked for several years as a mechanic for Terry Derryberry at his shop in Selmer and later did repair work for others at his own shop in Ramer. When asked where he wanted to be, he would always say "home" where he could work on different projects around his house or at his shop. Other than his family, his work was his life.

Mr. Dickey departed this life on January 21, 2022 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 3 Months, 13 Days. He is survived by three sons: Brian Dickey of Ramer, TN, Tyler Dickey of Ramer, TN, and Jerry Wayne (Lane) Dickey II of Booneville, MS; two grandchildren, B. J. Dickey and Loriana Ray Williams; a great-grandchild, Raelyn Jane Dickey; a stepson, David Hysmith of Henderson, TN; a stepdaughter, Savannah Tigner of Booneville, MS; three brothers: Anthony Dickey and wife Geneva of Ramer, TN, Larry Dickey of Corinth, MS, and Jeff Dickey and wife Phyllis of Tipperville, MS; three sisters: Patty McLamore and husband Marty of Medina, TN, Taylor Robertson of Guys, TN, and Louise Dickey of Ramer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
