Janie Veach

Mrs. Janie Veach, age 87 of Middleton, Tennessee, passed from this life Wednesday morning, May 17, 2017 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The daughter of the late William and Nicie Hodge, she was native and life-long resident of Hardeman County. Mrs. Veach was a homemaker, member of the Pocahontas United Pentecostal Church and enjoyed gardening in her earlier years.
She is survived by her daughter, Della Collums of Middleton; her two sons, Larry Wayne (Emily) Veach of Ramer and Larry Leroy (Tammy) Veach of Brownfield, MS; two sisters, Ellar Rogers of Huntingdon and Sadie Thurber of Ramer; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mancel Veach, the father of her children, Eugene Morris Veach; three sisters, Louise Woods, Ruby Bennett and Della Morris; and five brothers, James, Robert, Gene, Edgar and Ottis Hodge.
