Emily Willis
Henderson: Emily Ann Willis, age 21, died Sunday afternoon at the Jackson General Hospital emergency room as the result of a motor vehicle accident earlier in the day in McNairy County.
She was born in Jackson and grew up in Henderson and attended Chester County schools. She had worked as a CNA at Adamsville Nursing Home and currently was a teller at Clayton Bank in Henderson. She loved helping people, was always volunteering, was active in Relay-for-Life, and had this past week-end volunteered at the Bar-B-Que Festival, the Pig Trot, and the Parnell Memorial Splash, Dash, and Roll for children.
She is survived by her mother and step-father Christy Lynn Burke Massengill and Tracy Massengill, her father Walter Willis, Jr., a son Tanner Parrish, her fiancé Dustin Parrish, two sisters; Lauren Massengill and Kaleigh Morris all of Henderson, and three brothers; Seth Massengill of Henderson, Jacob Massengill of Nashville, and Matt Willis of Henderson.
Funeral services will 2 PM Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Joe Hays officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetlips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford – Casey Chapel from 5 PM until 8 PM Saturday.
