Deborah Lynn Estes Johnson, age 60 of Medon, departed this life Monday, April 8, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Randy Lynn Johnson, who survives, she currently worked as the front office manager for Mid South Heart Center in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born Sunday, July 13, 1958, daughter of the late Clyde D. Estes, who died in 1999, and Emma Sue Cotten of Medon and moved to Tennessee when she was 6 years old. She graduated with the class of 1977 from Bolivar Central High School.
On July 7, 2004 in Gatlinburg, she married her husband Randy and kept busy keeping him 'in line'. She did some work at Jackson State Community College, and enjoyed going to the lake, Tennessee football and basketball games, and shopping. A well known 'jokester', she loved hanging with her 'besties', having fun, and being around her family. She enjoyed the holidays and especially loved decorating for Christmas. She had a fondness for frogs and her greatest pride, aside from her family, was her dog, Toby. Mrs. Johnson was a member of New Union Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and her mother, survivors include two sons, Ryan Anthony Wheeler of Bolivar and Dr. Benjamin Lynn Johnson and his wife, Dr. Lauren Elizabeth Johnson, both of Nashville; a sister, Pamela Jill Helton of Jackson; a niece and nephew, Brianna Helton and Zack Helton, both of Jackson; and her dog, Toby.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Nicole Wheeler; her grandparents on both sides; an uncle; and her dog, Allie.
