Henderson: Lillian Christine Austin Gray, age 73, died at her home near Bethel Springs, Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Mrs. Gray was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Alton and Willie Sue White Austin. She became an LPN in 1980 and worked at Western State in Bolivar until she retired in 1997. She married Charles ‘Sonny’ Gray in 1989 and they made their home in the Hickory Corner Community. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church. Mr. Gray preceded in death in 2015.

She is survived by a brother Larry Austin of Henderson, a sister Imogene Coffman of Bethel Springs, three step-sons Jason Gray of Henderson, Chad Gray of Tupelo, and Greg Dunn of Fayetteville and five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers; Cecil, Robert, Jerry, and Guy Austin and five sisters; Edith Thomas, Sue Clayton, Hellen Betts, Marie Cupples, and Sandra Austin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford – Casey Chapel with Bro. Ken Kitchen officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM Saturday.
