Henderson: Christina Marie Deck Busby, age 57, died Saturday evening February 21, 2015 at Jackson General Hospital.
Mrs. Busby was born in Vero Beach, FL the daughter of Polly Owle Deck and the late Charles Edward Deck. She went to school in Florida. She married Larry Busby in 1977 and they made their home in the Sweetlips Community. She loved horses. She was a member of the Bethel Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was of Native American Cherokee descent through the Owle family.
She is survived by her husband Larry Busby, a daughter Lisa Busby, five grandchildren; Keelin, Kendrick, Kenley, Kason, and Kylan, a brother Flint Deck of Henderson, and five sisters; Belinda Taylor of Finger, Mona Robertson of Henderson, Lorina Cagle of Finger, Rhonda Hutcherson of Henderson, and Lauren Davidson of Finger.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Pastor DeWayne OFfill and Brother Ricky Tedford officiating and burial will follow at Sweetlips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford –Casey Chapel from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PN Tuesday.
