Chrissy Marie Woodbury, age 40, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, September 13th at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Born in Memphis, she married Aaron Woodbury on July 28, 2006. She was proud to be a licensed cosmetologist, a job she was good at, and worked at Sports Clips in Jackson. She loved working there and loved her work family, as well. She said living in Jackson these last four years were the best years of her life.
In her leisure time, Chrissy enjoyed crafting and staying busy. A hard worker and self-proclaimed "gypsy" at heart, she was an "old soul" who liked the ocean, traveling and dreaming of living in a simpler, by-gone era. She loved helping others and giving of herself to make them happy; expressions of her humble and selfless attitude. Her family was her #1 motivation and, in return, her family describes her as an amazing wife and mother.
She leaves her husband of 16 years, Aaron Woodbury of Jackson; daughter, Shyla Kinsey of Jackson; sons, Eean and Alvin Kinsey, also of Jackson; her mother, Deborah Cook (Roger) of Norfolk, VA; her father, Duane Malone of Memphis; sister, Melissa Malone of Norfolk, VA; two brothers, Duane Malone, II and Gary Malone, both of Norfolk; and a yet to be born grandson, Finn James Kinsey, who made her a proud grandmother even before birth.
She was also preceded in death by beloved friend, John Woodbury.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
