Charlotte Adele Pazoga Coln of Michie, TN departed this life on September 29, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS at the age of 74 Years, 5 Months, 22 Days. She was born on April 7, 1945 in Lebanon, PA the daughter of the late John Pazoga, Sr. and Joan Zimmerman Pazoga. She was united in marriage to James Coln on August 6, 1973.
Mrs. Coln had two Master's Degrees. She retired from Western Mental Health in Bolivar, TN where she was a Psychologist. Previously, she was a Registered Nurse in the Air Force and at Tuxedo Hospital in New York. She grew up in the Bronx, NY and Chester NY. She was united in marriage to James at Hahn Air Force Base in Germany. Mrs. Coln was very proud to be a Veteran of the United States Air Force having attained the rank of Captain. She was stationed in California and Germany, where she met James who was also enlisted in the Air Force.
Mrs. Coln supported many charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Humane Society. She enjoyed cruising, fishing if someone would bait her hook, her dogs and cats, listening to Kenny Rogers music, and especially spoiling her grandchildren. She was Catholic.
She is survived by her husband James Coln of Michie, TN; two daughters, Jamie Coln Leitschuh and husband Trey of Michie, TN, Bobbi Coln of Milan, TN; a son, Mike Coln and wife Stephanie of Corinth, MS; four grandchildren, Jacob Leitschuh, Samuel Leitschuh, Lyric Coln, Jameson Coln; a brother, Johnny Pazoga and wife Rosanne of Little River, SC along with a host of extended family and friends.
A public visitation for Mrs. Coln will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer, TN. There will be a private family service. Interment will be in Lorraine Cemetery.
