Jackson, TN: Cathy Ann Bailey age 67, passed away January 16, 2022 at her home.
She was born July 11, 1954 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of the late Curtis B. and Hilda Jeanette Gholson Bailey. She grew up in Oakfield, TN and attended Northside High School in Jackson. She also attended Jackson State Community College.
She worked at Owen’s Corning and Morrison’s in the Old Hickory Mall in Jackson, Manager at Pizza Inn in Jackson and Pizza Hut in Bolivar and Sip-n-Dip at the Old Hickory Mall.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Rogers of Jackson and a son, John Matlock of Nashville and two grandchildren, Ryan William Rogers and John Henry Matlock, III; a sister, Pamela Hickman (Donnie) of Oakfield, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Curtis Mike Bailey.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 19th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Sister Brenda Staggs officiating. Burial will follow in Bailey Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday.
