James Anthony Frix, of Henderson, TN, passed away on August 24, 2021.
Anthony was born on January 28, 1960, to James and Maye Frix of Henderson, TN. He, his brother Carey Frix, and their sister Mitzi Graves were raised in Henderson, where Anthony graduated from Chester County High School in 1978.
In August 1984, he married Kindra Patterson. Together, they made their home in Henderson, where they raised their two children, Whitney and Wesley.
Anthony was a talented carpenter with exceptional work ethic, having evidence of his artistry displayed in homes and businesses across west Tennessee. In recent years, he enjoyed working in freight.
In his free time, Anthony was a racing and car-enthusiast and self-taught mechanic. He embraced every opportunity to travel with Kindra on their motorcycles, and he was particularly fond of their travels to the mountains.
Anthony’s devotion to his family was unparalleled. He was proud of his children, both in their accomplishments and, more importantly, in the lives they have built and lead. Earlier this year, Anthony and Kindra proudly welcomed their first grandchild and Anthony’s namesake, Wyatt Anthony Frix.
He is survived by his wife Kindra; children Whitney (Malcolm) Cupples of Nashville and Wesley (Mary) Frix of Jackson; grandson Wyatt Frix; parents James and Maye Frix; brother Carey (Nicole) Frix; sister Mitzi (Robin) Graves; father- and mother-in-law Eddy and Judith Patterson; sister-in-law Kim Mays; and a nephew and several nieces.
