Mrs. Lambert passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was the widow of Roger Dale Lambert, who departed this life on June 10, 2016.
She was born in Bernie, MO, but lived most all of her life in Hardeman County. A former CNA/GNA for Pleasant View Nursing Home and Care Inn, in Bolivar, she was a member of Shandy Baptist Church. She married Mr. Lambert on July 3, 1987, and, in her leisure time, enjoyed listening to music especially attending Music On The Square on Friday nights in Bolivar. She also liked quilting, relaxing on her front porch and caring for the needs of her family.
Survivors include three sons, James (Mylinda) Davis of Middleton, Burt (Dorothy) Davis of Bolivar and Roger Gerrolds of Kentucky; four sisters, Belinda Howell and Rose (Bill) Richie, both of Bolivar, Linda Logan of Jackson and Elizabeth Waldrop of Walnut, MS; one brother, James (Denise) Howell of Bolivar; seven grandchildren, Jamie and James Davis, Samantha Hasapis, Andrea Keymon, Mary Woods, Nicholas Barnes and Kaylan Stanford; three great-grandchildren, Adyson Hasapis, Brixton Howell and Emma Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Howell; her mother, Opal Young Howell Swinford; and grandson, Charles "Wes" Wesley Goodman.
