Vallen spent most of her life in Hardin County, Tennessee before moving to Shelby County, Tennessee 3 years ago. She worked as a waitress at Joe's Crab Shack and as a barista at Starbucks. Vallen loved singing, dancing, playing guitar and working out. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her mother, Tammy Michelle Briley Lilly of Cordova, Tennessee; father, Bruce Conner and Sandy of Savannah, Tennessee; and sister, Mickay Qualls of Cordova, Tennessee.
